Lee Rogers and Dean Moraitis have been training club and scholastic teams in Long Island since 1991.
Their program has achieved incredible success, including
Championships and National Rankings, for the towns of Baldwin, Oceanside, Port Washington, Hewlett, Lawrence, Syosett, Long Beach, New Hyde
Park and Herricks, to name a few.
Port Washington Predators
BU19 - Premier Division
The Predators started in the last Division of the LIJSL. By the end of the Fall 2010 Season, the Predators moved up to the 1st Division. They have already claimed three Division
titles and won the Waldbum's Cup in the Spring of 2009. They are looking to play in the President's Premier League for the Spring of 2012. Please read their
Case Study for the full details of this team's success.
Port Washington Torpedoes
BU12 - Division 7
Despite a tough schedule, where this Boys "C" team had to play teams that were considered "A" and "B" level, the team was recognized as "...the only team that seemed to play
the game in a proper, tactical form." The Torpedoes have won the 2011 Spring Division, going undefeated (9-0), and have asperations of one day repeating the accomplishment
of the Predators by winning Division 1.
Port Washington Blue Knights
BU17 - Division 2
Dean Moraitis took over the team the winter of 2009, after the team had finished the Fall Season with a record of 0-9. At the conclusion of the 2009 Spring Season, the team
finished with a record of 5-3-2, and moved back to Division 5, where the finished the Fall 2009 Season with a record of 5-4. Dan Brotman then joined the team for the Spring
2011 Season and the team finished in second place going 8-1. This year, the boys are competing at their highest level ever, Division 2, with the goal of finishing in the top 4
despite several injuries to key players.
Jericho Thunder
BU11 - Division 5The Thunder
is a group of 11 year old boys who have the determination and drive to become a unified team of strength. The group, led by Marc Solomon who implemented a new system, has
already enjoyed some success with their third place finish at a recent Labor Day tournament. Compared to their four loses in the same tournament last year and giving up many goals,
this year the team's only loss was to the winner of their age group and they only gave up a single goal. The team is working very hard at practices and preparing for each game.
Solomon sees a lot of potential and expects the team to perform very well this season. He is very proud to be part of a team that has great kids and very supportive parents.
Port Washington Cheetahs
GU10 - Division 3
The girls new U10 "B" Team will begin their first season of travel soccer from scratch, in that EASA will impliment their tactics and style-of-play to help the girls understand
the proper way to play the game. Dean Moraitis is very excited about the future of the team, and is looking forward to a wonderful future with EASA's newest group of athletes!
Port Washington Dynamite
GU14 - Division 7
The girls have had several trainers attempt to train this team, with very little success. Starting last Spring Season, the training combination of Dan Brotman and Dean Moraitis
changed the team's total perspective of the game. Dan implemented his "Playbook" 360° system, which teaches the four cornerstone's of the game, technical, tactical, mental and
physical. The team had a much more clear aspect of the importance of tactics and were able to dynamically switch into different formations (4-4-2, 3-5-2) on the fly. The results
speak for themselves. The Dynamite went from a team that typically finished in the last 2 spots of the Division and couldn't score, to playing for a first place position the final week
of the season! The girls finished in second place, and will be moving up two Divisions!
Port Washington Wildcats
GU16 - Division 4
The team played strong this past Fall 2009 Season, finishing with a record of 5-1-3, and just missing being promoted to Division 4, by two points. They also won the Oceanside
United Soccer Tournament — winning all of their games. Spring Season of 2010, the goal was to finish in first place, which they did (read article about the Wildcats in our "News"
section). They are now playing in Division 4, and are looking to finish in first place and move to Division 3.
Baldwin Senior High School
Division IIFor many years, the
Girls Varsity Soccer program was known to have talent, but could not "..take it to the next level." Lee Rogers took over as the Assistant Coach, and the results
were instantly recognizable. The Bruins made the Nassau County Final for the first time in over 20 years, losing a tight game to Massapequa, 1-2. Clearly, the
program's future is bright.
